The Green Thumbs are organizing a Bus Trip to the Quebec City Botanical Gardens, Montmorency Falls and the Redford Metis Gardens in Rimouski.

 It’s a quick trip over 2 days, but you might be interested in joining us.

 To reserve your seat, we must receive your payment by Friday June 21.

Wednesday July 17, 2024 – bring your own lunch to eat on the bus at noon

 7:00 am sharp - leave Williamstown Char-Lan Arena and drive Route 30 and Route 20

 11:00 am - visit Quebec City’s Botanical Gardens

 12:30 pm – drive to and visit Montmorency Falls

 1:30 pm – drive Route 30 and stop at an idyllic village for some browsing

 5:30 pm - arrive at our Rimouski motel, which is situated on a beach.   Supper in Rimouski.

 Optional fun evening activity to be determined.

Thursday July 18, 2024 - Breakfast in Rimouski

 9:00 am - drive scenic Route 132 to Redford Metis Gardens to see the blue poppies in bloom

 9:40 am – walk in the Metis gardens and have lunch at their world renowned restaurant

 12:30 pm - drive Route 20 to a Garden Centre in Levis

 4:00 pm – visit the Garden Centre at 4760 Boulevard Guillaume-Couture, Levis and a Tim’s break

 5:15 pm – drive Route 20 and Route 30

 9:00 pm – arrive back in Williamstown

 $420.00 per person.  Costs include: 

Bus, driver, parking & Entrance Fees to the Botanical Gardens and Montmorency Falls, as well as the hotel based on double occupancy, so mention your preferred partner or let us match up 2 to a room.

 Meals not included:  We need to let restaurants know approximately how many to expect and also to try to get a good deal, so please note which meals you plan to eat at a restaurant.

 Optional:  Bring your own meals, snacks & beverages in a small cooler.

 Each participant is required to sign the Bus Waiver, which is attached to the email.  We will also have Waiver sheets available for your signature prior to boarding the bus.

To ensure that we have 26 participants, we are inviting members of other Hort Societies in District 1.  Guests and Hort members are covered by the OHA Liability Insurance.
