Sign-up Sheet for the District 1 Annual General Meeting on Saturday, April 13, 2024 hosted by the Russell & District Horticultural Society.  Payment of $35 to the Green Thumbs is due when you sign up.  Sign-up sheet will also be available at the March 25 meeting.

Plant Sale Sign-up Sheets:

-          for the week ahead of the Plant Sale: Monday, May 06 to Friday, May 10 

-          for the day of the Plant Sale: Saturday, May 11

6:00 pm           Appetizers, Cash Bar for wine / beer. Punch provided

6:30 pm           Pot Luck Dinner – Please bring your own cutlery, plate & cup and one of the following: 

·         Dessert, appetizers, buns, salad or

·         Main course – Cold dish or hot dish already cooked; ovens will be on to keep it hot

·         Include a serving spoon if required

7:00 pm           Presentation: ‘Black Walnuts and Foraging” with Guy Lefebvre

7:50 pm           Dessert

8:00 pm           Mini workshop with Lia Lindeman.  She will be making a Kokedama which is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows.  It will be our door prize!
